Italian for People Who Really Want to Speak
I work with adult students who do not simply want to “study Italian”, but want to actually understand and use the language in real communication: speaking, listening, asking questions, answering naturally, building sentences and gradually becoming more confident.
My lessons are also for people who are interested in Italy beyond grammar: culture, traditions, food, travel, everyday life, current topics and the way Italians actually communicate.
My approach is communicative but structured. We work on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening and speaking, but always in connection with real situations and practical communication.
The goal is not just to know the rules. The goal is to use Italian: introduce yourself, maintain a conversation, express an opinion and understand the person you are speaking to.
Who My Lessons Are For
Communication is central to my lessons: dialogue, questions, answers, natural interaction and the willingness to actually use the language.
If you prefer to sit quietly, listen to long explanations and speak as little as possible, my teaching style will probably not be the right fit for you.
I do not teach in the form of a passive school lecture where the teacher speaks most of the time and the student simply takes notes.
Italian is not only grammar rules and exercises. It is communication, culture, emotions, real situations and the ability to express an idea even when you do not yet know every word.
If you do not know a word, we do not automatically translate every sentence. Instead, we learn to explain the idea in another way, use synonyms, context, examples, gestures and simpler phrases.
This is how you gradually learn to think and communicate directly in Italian.

Lessons are available for groups that are already formed and would like to study together.

Travel lessons in Moscow depend on the district, distance and travel time.
Lesson Prices
We meet, estimate your current level, discuss your goals and decide which lesson format may suit you best.
The price applies to a 60-minute individual lesson.
The minimum rate applies when purchasing a lesson package.
The maximum rate applies to a one-off lesson.
For two students who want to study together and practise more real conversation.
Available only for groups that are already formed. I do not organise or open public groups.
Lessons at the student’s location — 2,500–7,000 ₽ / 60 minutes
The price depends on the district, distance and travel time.
Packages of 5 or more lessons have a lower per-lesson rate.
For packages of 10 or more lessons, an additional 10% discount may be available.
Payment
Payments are made in Russian rubles.
Prepayment is available by bank card through the website or by bank transfer. A fiscal receipt is issued after payment.

Levels & Language of Instruction
I work with students from A1 to C1.
Motivated complete beginners at A0 are also welcome.
The main language of the lesson is Italian.
This is an essential part of my teaching method: the aim is to understand and use Italian directly rather than remain dependent on constant translation.
When necessary, I can briefly clarify something in English.
You do not need to speak Russian to study with me.
This makes my lessons particularly suitable for international residents in Moscow and elsewhere in Russia, as well as students joining online from other countries.
I do not teach through constant translation. If you are looking for a teacher who translates every sentence or explains the entire lesson in another language, my format will probably not be the right fit.
If you already have at least an A1 level, we can gradually work almost entirely in Italian: naturally, calmly and without unnecessary dependence on translation.

I use modern textbooks, my own materials and additional exercises designed to develop grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking skills.

The textbook provides structure and progression, but lessons do not become a simple sequence of exercises from a book.
Materials are used as a starting point for conversation, dialogue, questions, discussion and practical communication.
I adapt activities to each student’s level, goals and learning pace.
We may work with texts, audio, short dialogues, thematic vocabulary, grammar in context and exercises designed to activate the language.
The goal is not simply to “complete a unit”, but to help you become increasingly independent in Italian: understanding, answering, asking questions, building sentences and speaking with more confidence.

Introductory Lesson
During the first lesson, we will meet, estimate your current level and discuss your goals and the most suitable way to work together.
You will also have the chance to see whether my approach suits you: lessons with a native speaker, gradual immersion in Italian, active use of the language from the beginning and learning without constant dependence on translation.
We do not translate every sentence or immediately look for the translation of every unfamiliar word.
Instead, we practise explaining ideas in other ways, using context, examples, synonyms, gestures and simpler phrases.
After the introductory lesson, I will suggest a possible way forward based on your level, goals and learning pace.
About Me
I have worked in tourism since the 1990s and moved to Moscow in 2012. The city quickly became home.
My professional life has always been connected with people, languages and travel.
I have worked in tourism in both Italy and Russia, developed my own projects and, since 2020, have also been teaching Italian to adult students.
Today I combine teaching with my continued work in tourism.
My approach to both is quite simple: work professionally, communicate clearly and never promise something I cannot deliver.
